Kicking off the spooky season in style, Halloween in the City is an annual celebration that takes over Manchester's city centre with petrifying parades, ghastly games and haunted happenings. Whether it's hunting the giant inflatable #MCRMonsters that take over the city, doing the Time Warp at the monster music festival, or donning your best fancy dress to take on the Team Trick vs Team Treat Challenge, there’s a host of family-friendly events to enjoy in the city.
Gandeys Halloween Spooktacular! at the Trafford Centre
When: 10th October – 2nd November 2025
Where: The Trafford Centre, Manchester
Gandeys Circus returns to the Trafford Centre for another year with a new, action-packed show for the whole family to enjoy. Just like its sister site in Manchester mentioned above, Newsham Scream Park welcomes 14 year olds and above, so it’s perfect for families with older children and adults looking for the ultimate fright! Halloween Feast at Slug & Lettuce, Leeds

If you're feeling peckish this October, then head over to Slug & Lettuce who have developed a series of Halloween themed cocktails to help you celebrate the occasion! Not only that, but they've extended bottomless brunch for students until 8:30pm on October 31st, so you have plenty to much on. Bibi's Monster Mash
