There is no UK city more renowned for its nightlife than Newcastle. From its bustling pubs and clubs to the exquisite Theatre Royal, the city trumps the competition when you’re looking for a memorable night out!
However, it isn’t just about the nightlife, there's a diverse selection of things to do in Newcastle during the day, including the International Centre for Life, Newcastle Castle and The Angel of the North. There's plenty of attractions in Newcastle and so much to explore when visiting by train!
Sightseeing isn’t everything Newcastle has to offer during the day with two separate shopping centres, Eldon Square and Metrocentre. Both are filled with big-name brands as well as some smaller and independent stores, giving you the pick of the litter as you prepare for a night on the town.
Going hand-in-hand with its nightlife, the food scene of Newcastle is one to behold, with 18 Michelin-star restaurants and many hidden gems scattered throughout the city, there’s no better way to get a night started.
After a delicious meal your night can go anywhere, a trip down to the Quayside will give you a large selection of cocktail bars and clubs to dive into and dance the night away. If hitting the town isn’t quite your style, a visit to the Theatre Royal may be a better alternative offering live music, comedy and stage productions.
Wherever you do find yourself going, you’ll be welcomed with open arms, a warm smile and the classic Geordie accent.
