Who is eligible for a 26-30 Railcard?

Anyone aged between 26 to 30 is eligible for a 26-30 Railcard. You can apply for it anytime before your 31st birthday and the railcard will last a year even if you turn 31 during that period. 

Can I renew my 26-30 Railcard when I'm 30?

Yes, you can renew your 26-30 Railcard when you've turned 30, as it can be bought up to the day of your 31st birthday. However, once the 12-months have passed, you won't be able to renew it again once you're 31. If you regularly travel with someone else, you may wish to opt for a Family and Friends Railcard or Two Together Railcard.

How much is a 26-30 Railcard?

A 26-30 Railcard costs £35 for a year and with great savings of up to a 1/3 across a range of ticket types and destinations, the card can quickly pay for itself.

When can I use a 26-30 Railcard?

You can use a 26-30 Railcard on journeys during weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. Tickets must cost a minimum of £12 if travelling between 4:30am - 9:59am during weekdays, but this is not required after 10am. 

A 26-30 Railcard will save you money on the following ticket types:

• Standard Anytime, Anytime Day Singles & Returns.
• Standard Off-Peak, Off-Peak Day Singles & Returns.
• Standard Super Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak Day Singles & Returns.
• Standard and First Class Advance (must be booked before travelling).
• The Gatwick, Stansted and Heathrow Express.
• Oyster Off-Peak PAYG daily price cap and Off-Peak PAYG singles on National Rail, the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway.
• Anytime Day Travelcard Zones 1-9 on tickets to London from outside the London Zones (subject to a min. fare of £23.60).
• Most Rail Rovers tickets.
• PLUSBUS Tickets.

Yes, you can use a 26-30 Railcard during peak times. However, it can only be applied to tickets costing a minimum of £12 between the hours of 4:30am - 9:59am during weekdays.
