Liverpool train stations
Visiting Liverpool by train couldn't be easier. Northern operates out of two Liverpool train stations. The main station is Lime Street, located in the centre of Liverpool, and South Parkway, which allows for access to and from Lime Street and a short bus ride to the Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Liverpool Lime Street Train Station
Located in the city centre, Lime Street station allows for easy access to many of Liverpool’s shops, as well as being within walking distance of the World Museum, the waterfront and the home of Liverpool FC, Anfield.

Liverpool South Parkway
Just a short bus ride from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, South Parkway offers those who have just landed a quick route into the city centre. The station also serves as an interchange between the mainline and commuter networks.

Liverpool South Parkway is the closest train station to Liverpool John Lennon Airport at just 3 miles away, with regular bus connections available.

There are no specific luggage restrictions on Northern trains to Liverpool. However, was ask that passengers are mindful of how much luggage they bring and use the dedicated luggage space provided. Please do not block the train doors, walkways or use seats for luggage.

You can either get a train to Liverpool Lime Street, which is a 10-minute walk from Anfield or get on the Soccerbus service, which will take you directly to the stadium.
