Our Meet the Manager events give you the chance to speak directly with the senior leaders who make decisions across Northern and our partner organisations.

We want to have open and honest conversations to hear what's working well for you, where we can do better, and to share the improvements and investments we're making across the railway.

Our next Meet the Manager event will be at Manchester Victoria Station on Wednesday, 30 September from 1530 to 1730.

You'll be able to meet managers from Northern and our partner organisations to ask questions and share your views in person.

If you're unable to attend on the day, you can still have your say by filling in the web form which will be live on this page from 23 September to 7 October.

After each Meet the Manager event, we will publish the key themes and explain the actions we're taking in response to them at the bottom of this page.

The signage in Leeds Station is not clear, coming down the stairs it's too small.

Our answer

We have fed this back to our colleagues at Network Rail, who run Leeds Station, and they are going to review station signage.

You said:

A customer from Bingley was concerned about ticket offices closing in our smaller stations and being able to pay for tickets in cash.

Our answer:

Our ticket office opening hours are set out legally by the Government. Bingley ticket office is open from 0610 to 1900, Monday to Saturday, and we have no plans for any changes at the moment.

A customer who travels regularly with their child in a pushchair told us that the lift at Kirkstall Forge station is often out of order

Our answer:

We are aware of this issue and are raising it with colleagues in our local and property teams to make sure we are notified if the lifts fail, so we can get them fixed as quickly as possible.

You said:

When will White Rose Station be complete?

Our answer:

West Yorkshire Combined Authority is working to complete the station.

You said:

During rush hour can the barriers at Leeds just be left open? There is always a long queue to get everyone scanned and through.

Our answer:

At Leeds station, if crowds exceed our limit line, the team will open the gates.
