Education Season Tickets
New routines, new surroundings, new responsibilities… starting Year 7 can feel like a lot. Education Season train tickets help remove one big worry by giving your child reliable and cost-effective travel from day one.
Discover Education Season tickets- Promoter: The promoter of this promotion is Northern Trains Limited (trading as Northern), registered at George Stephenson House, Toft Green, York, YO1 6JT (the “Promoter”).
- Start Date: The promotion begins on 19 May 2026.
- Qualifying Ticket: A “Qualifying Ticket” is defined as any unlimited day travel ticket redeemed online via northernrailway.co.uk or through the Promoter’s mobile app on or after the Start Date. Tickets must be valid for travel between 19 May 2026 and 30 September 2026 (inclusive) on the Northern network.
- The promotional offer is only valid for redemptions made before 30 September 2026.
- Ticket Limit: One Qualifying Ticket per code is permitted under this promotion. Each ticket is valid for one adult and one child travelling together.
- Terms of Redemption: All redemptions of Qualifying Tickets are subject to the Promoter’s standard terms and conditions, available at:

- Availability: Qualifying Tickets are available while stocks last.
- Railcard Exclusion: Qualifying Tickets cannot be redeemed in conjunction with a Railcard.
- Travel Restrictions: Qualifying Tickets are valid only on the date booked by the passenger and shown on the ticket. Passengers must travel exclusively on Northern Trains as shown on the ticket.
- Ticket Validity and Booking: Valid for Northern services timed to depart from 09:30 Monday to Friday, and at all times weekends and Bank Holidays. May be booked up to 23:59 on the day before travel.
- Refunds and Exchanges: Qualifying Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be amended or exchanged.
- National Rail Conditions: Travel on Northern services is subject to the National Rail Conditions of Travel.
- Right to Withdraw or Amend: The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the promotion at any time without prior notice.
- Disqualification: The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be abusing the promotion, acting fraudulently, or otherwise not complying with these Terms and Conditions.
