Timetable changes

Barrow - Manchester Airport

• Cancelled services: The 09:52 and the 14:47 from Barrow-in-Furness to Manchester Airport and the 10:33 and 12:30 from Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness. 

Windermere - Manchester Airport

• Cancelled services: The 09:12 from Preston to Manchester Airport and the 17:30 from Manchester Airport to Windermere.
• Bus replacements: Evening services to Windermere.

Barrow-in-Furness – Carlisle

• Bus replacements: Late evening services north of Workington (19:38 Whitehaven to Carlisle, 21:10 Carlisle to Whitehaven).

Blackpool North - Manchester Airport

• Cancelled services: The 11:51, 15:51, and 19:48 from Blackpool North to Manchester Airport; and the 13:45, 17:45, and 21:45 from Manchester Airport to Blackpool North.

Liverpool - Manchester Oxford Road

• Cancelled services: The 08:25, 11:25, 14:25, 17:25, and 20:25 from Liverpool to Manchester Oxford Road; and the 09:46, 12:46, 15:46, 18:46, and 21:46 from Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool.

Blackpool South - Preston – Colne

• No change to service between Preston – Colne.
• Reduced to a 2 hourly service between Preston – Blackpool South. 

Liverpool - Wilmslow via Newton-le-Willows and Manchester Airport

• Service Changes: The hourly service will become 2-hourly between Liverpool and Manchester Airport (with services using to 6-car trains, for more capacity).  
• Bus replacements: Between Manchester Airport and Wilmslow.
• Cancelled Services: The 23:10 from Manchester Airport to Liverpool and the 23:30 from Liverpool to Manchester Airport.

Southport - Vic - Todmorden – Blackburn

• Service changes: The hourly service will become 2-hourly between Southport and Manchester Victoria, and 2-hourly between Manchester Victoria and Blackburn.

Stoke – Piccadilly

• Service removed and replaced by buses on this route

Clitheroe - Manchester Victoria

• Service changes: The hourly service will become 2-hourly between Manchester Victoria and Blackburn.

Victoria - Leeds via Bradford

• No changes.

Chester - Leeds via Bradford

• Service removed between Manchester Victoria and Chester.

Manchester Piccadilly - Chester via Altrincham

• No changes.

Manchester Piccadilly – Buxton

• Service changes: The hourly service will become 2-hourly.

Manchester Piccadilly - Sheffield via New Mills Central

• Service changes: The hourly service will become two trains every three hours.

Piccadilly - Hadfield/Glossop

• Service changes: The half-hourly services will become two trains every 90 minutes.

Piccadilly - Crewe via Stockport

• Service changes: The hourly service will be reduced to 2-hourly.

Liverpool - Wigan - Blackpool North

• Service changes: The hourly services will become 2-hourly, with the last train at 23:15 from Liverpool to Blackpool North cancelled.

Blackpool North – York

• No change.

Lancaster – Morecambe

• Service withdrawal: Services between Lancaster and Morecambe will be removed, with buses replacing trains on this route. 

Wigan North Western – Stalybridge

• Service removed and replaced by buses on this route.
