Opened in 1840, Poulton-le-Fylde Station was originally positioned a few hundred yards from the current site, but following a fatal accident on the tight connecting curves to Blackpool Station, the tracks were straightened and Poulton Station moved to its current location in 1896.
The buildings were rebuilt in 2009, with a complete modernisation programme including new signalling, and now nearly half a million passengers come through its doors annually.
The train journey between Poulton-le-Fylde Station and Blackpool Airport takes around an hour.
It takes about five minutes to walk from the station to the town centre.
Poulton-le-Fylde Station has space for 20 cars.
There are no bike spaces at the station.
