Our network connects hundreds of towns, cities and villages, each with their own identities and needs. We’re working closely with communities, local partners, and Community Rail Partnerships, to deliver collaborative projects and station improvements to create stations with a stronger sense of place shaped by local heritage and values.
What we’ve done 
Alongside work at stations, we also deliver community outreach programmes that engage with young people, break down barriers to the rail industry, and support community projects through our designated Customer and Community Improvement Fund.
What’s next
Going forward, we aim to strengthen and expand our partnerships, build broader networks of voluntary and social‑enterprise partners, and deliver targeted interventions based on local data. Through region‑specific engagement plans, we can increase sustainability awareness among community groups and develop new cross‑sector collaborations.
