Emergency timetable changes on the Hull, Scarborough and Sheffield routes
Our trains between Hull and Scarborough are currently experiencing disruption.
Following a safety inspection of the track between Seamer and Filey, Network Rail has introduced an emergency speed restriction.
This is resulting in significantly longer journey times and is affecting our ability to operate our normal timetable.
As a result, an emergency timetable will be introduced from Saturday 12 September, which we expect to operate for the following seven days while Network Rail continues to assess and manage the infrastructure issue.
This timetable is not yet live in online journey planners.
Customers are advised to check before travelling as journey times and train service patterns will differ from the normal timetable and may be subject to short-notice cancellations.
We are working closely with Network Rail and will provide further updates this afternoon as soon as full timetable details are confirmed.
