Disruption to travel
Due to a landslip between Wakefield Kirkgate and Barnsley, our services will be disrupted on Wednesday 11 February and Thursday 12 February.
On Thursday 12 February, buses will replace trains between Wakefield and Barnsley (in both directions) - there will be no train service between these two stations as a result of this incident.
Services will also be disrupted between Sheffield and Leeds (in both directions) with a reduced service operating and services being diverted via Moorthorpe.

Refunds and Delay Repay
If your train is cancelled, you can claim a full refund, (provided your ticket was purchased through Northern). More details can be found on the refunds page.
If your train is delayed you can claim a refund depending on the length of delay using the Delay Repay portal.
