Station Message
Station Bridge Extended ClosureFrom Saturday 31 October, Network Rail will carry out the remaining upgrade activity to the pedestrian link over the railway, with work expected to be completed by the end of February 2027.
To allow the work to be carried out safely, the footbridge will be closed overnight from 11pm on Saturdays until 9am on Sundays between 31 October 2026 and 28 February 2027.
The bridge will also be fully closed from Monday 30 November to Friday 18 December 2026 inclusive, with pedestrian access restricted again during further planned work in February.
An alternative route will be in place for pedestrians, and rail passengers are advised to leave extra time for their journeys to the station."
