We understand how important it is to get back lost items, and we are here to help!
If you've misplaced something while travelling on one of our trains or at any of our stations, please reach out to us, and we'll do our utmost to locate your belongings. You can report lost property by calling 0800 200 6060 or emailing us at [email protected].
When you contact us, we kindly ask you to provide the following details:
- A description of the lost item
- The service during which you lost it (including the train's departure time, as well as your origin and destination stations)
- If possible, please specify your location on the train (which carriage)
At Northern, we genuinely value your belongings and are committed to returning them to their rightful owners. To verify ownership, our team might kindly ask for proof of identification. Additionally, if you're retrieving a mobile phone, we may request you to unlock it. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work diligently to keep your items secure.
For security reasons, once your item has been confirmed as yours, we are unable to return it to a train. Instead, you'll need to either collect it from the designated station or organise a courier for its transportation.
