This station has step free access to each platform. HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE there is no step-free access between the ticket office and Platforms 2 and 3. Access to Platforms 2 and 3 (for trains towards Colchester, Norwich and for the Sudbury branch line) is via North Lane, which is approximately 500m from the ticket office and Platform 1 (for trains towards London). Please allow plenty of time for your transfer between platforms.

Assistance meeting point is the ticket office for London bound services, or the supervisor's office on platform 2 for northbound services towards Colchester and Norwich.
