The footbridge provides access to the station by road. This is via Station Road, The drop-off point is at the front of the station. There are 2 accessible points to Platform 2 (Leeds bound platform) one is via a newly installed ramp adjacent to the ticket office door and the other access point is via an existing entrance adjacent to the fully accessible parking bays.
Level access to platform 1 (York-bound platform) is via lifts at the West end of the platform.
