Manchester Airport ticket flexibility

Customers travelling to or from Manchester Airport whose flights have been affected by the national flight disruption on Tuesday, 8 September, can use their rail ticket flexibly on Northern and TransPennine Express services.

If your ticket is dated 8 or 9 September, and your journey starts at Manchester Airport, you can:

• Travel on the next available Northern or TransPennine Express train to your destination
• Use either Northern or TransPennine Express services, regardless of which company your original ticket is booked with
• Travel at any time, as advance ticket restrictions have been lifted
• This arrangement is valid throughout Wednesday, 9 and Thursday, 10 September, for customers holding tickets dated 8 or 9 September.
