Metro Winter offer

Northern have introduced a flat fare winter offer on the Settle – Carlisle line and Leeds – Morecambe line for Metro (West Yorkshire Combined Authority) English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) pass holders.

Metro ENCTS pass holders (Senior, Disabled and Blind) will be able to purchase a flat fare Day Ranger ticket for £14 and take up to four children with them for a flat fare of either £7 per child.

The offer is available Monday 9 January 2023 and will run until Saturday 1 April 2023 inclusive.

Stations included; Leeds, Kirkstall Forge, Apperley Bridge, Bradford Forster Square, Frizinghall, Shipley, Crossflatts, Bingley, Saltaire, Keighley, Steeton & Silsden, Cononley, Skipton, Gargrave, Hellifield, Long Preston, Giggleswick, Clapham (North Yorkshire), Bentham, Wennington, Carnforth, Lancaster, Bare Lane, Morecambe, Heysham Port, Settle, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Ribblehead, Dent, Garsdale, Kirkby Stephen, Appleby, Langwathby, Lazonby & Kirkoswald, Armathwaite and Carlisle.

Availability

On all trains except for the 0549 Carlisle – Leeds via Settle and 0648 Lancaster – Leeds via Bentham services Mondays to Fridays, valid all-day weekends and Bank Holidays.

Where to buy

These tickets can only be purchased at staffed station ticket offices or from conductors on train when boarding at unstaffed stations. These tickets are not available to purchase online or through ticket vending machines. Customers boarding at unstaffed stations which have a ticket vending machine must obtain a ‘Promise to Pay’ ticket.
