Station Message
From Monday 22 September 2025, the car park at Batley station will be closed due to Transpennine route upgrade works taking place.
Pedestrian access and a reduced number of accessible parking spaces (for badge holders only) will be maintained. Alternative car parking can be found at the Kirklees Council car park on Station Road, a short distance (100m) from the Batley station.
Additionally, from Tuesday 19 May to Friday 31 July, the ticket vending machine will be temporarily unavailable at Batley station. Customers should purchase a ticket for their journey at the earliest opportunity. Tickets are available online at northernrailway.co.uk, using the Northern app, or from a ticket office or ticket vending machine at the destination or interchange station.
