Partial step-free access. Access to Platform 1 (for trains to Bradford/Leeds) via partially unmade pathway (100m), fairly steep in places with no handrail, then short ramp. Alternative access is from Station Road down approximately 30 steps. Step-free access to Platform 2 (for trains to Skipton) via short ramp, or level from car park. Step-free route between platforms via Station Road involves crossing the road, which does not have a formal crossing.

The station is accessed from the main road ( A6,THE CRESCENT) and the corner of University Road. There is a lift available at the end of the overbridge (facing the steps of which there is 36 down onto the platform). The lift is available from first to last train.
During late 25/early 26, a third platform will be built at the station, at this time additional lifts will be installed to ensure the station remains step free.
