Engineering works at Huddersfield

Buses replace trains around Huddersfield on 3/4, 10/11, 17/18 August, 31 August and 1 September

Network Rail is carrying out major improvement works in the Huddersfield area as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade. Whilst this work takes place, our trains will not be able to run to or from Huddersfield station.

On Saturdays and Sundays throughout August 2024, buses will replace trains on some of our routes.

Trains will run as normal between Sheffield and Lockwood, with bus replacements connecting to and from Huddersfield.

Trains between Huddersfield and Bradforf Interchange will not run, with buses replacing trains between Huddersfield, Brighouse and Halifax.
