  • We offer apprenticeships and have a graduate scheme in place. 
  • We’re one of the few train operating companies who have a dedicated Diversity Manager.
  • Last but not least, we run an Employee Inclusion Group and a 250 strong Employee Engagement Group, and our equality, diversity and inclusion events calendar has never been busier.

Enhance the UK

Enhance the UK is proud to work with Northern delivering interactive face to face disability awareness training to all new frontline staff.  The training is delivered by disabled trainers and takes place in a classroom setting as well as at the station to ensure staff are confident to and know how to appropriately assist disabled customers when required.  We also deliver deaf awareness training and work closely with Northern to provide ongoing training resources for all staff.
