To celebrate the return of the Southport Flower Show, Northern has teamed up with organisers to offer its customers a 10 per cent discount on admission to the prestigious event.

The saving will be available all adults who purchase a rail ticket to Southport or present a valid pass at the Northern ticket office.
Sharon Keith, Regional Director for Northern, said: “The Southport Flower Show is a major event in the regional calendar and we are delighted to be able to work in partnership with the show to offer great discounts for our customers.
“This is a great opportunity for people across our Network to explore the railway and enjoy an extravaganza of flowers, food and festivity.”
The four-day show starts on Thursday, 17 August, and features a range of events including celebrity appearances, show gardens, flower demonstrations and culinary shows.
Sharon added: “This year’s show promises to be an exciting and popular event and, with more than 50,000 visitors expected across the four days, we anticipate our services will be busy.
“We have already planned to add extra carriages to help customers get to and from Southport this week and will continue to work to help ensure everyone has the best day out possible.”
