Manchester Airport - removal of ticket restrictions
Due to disruption to flights to/from the Middle East, all customers travelling to Manchester Airport for flights to countries in the Middle East including The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq and Iran are advised not to travel.
Ticket restrictions have been removed on Northern and TransPennine Express services for customers who have made rail journeys to Manchester Airport, or customers returning on earlier than scheduled flights from the region. This is from 28 February until Monday 2 March.
All customers who have proof of affected travel to/from the Middle East will be able to travel on all Northern and TransPennine Express services regardless of whether they have a ticket booked. Our colleagues will provide the assistance you need to reach your destination.
