As part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade, work will take place between Leeds and York to replace a bridge between Micklefield and Church Fenton.
From Tuesday 28 May until Friday 31 May 2024, Northern trains will not be able to run between Leeds and York.
Buses will replace trains between York, Church Fenton and Micklefield, where they will connect with trains for journeys to and from Leeds. Some early morning and evening buses will call additionally at Ulleskelf.
Our Blackpool to York service will start and finish at Leeds whilst this work takes place.
Other operator’s services will be affected – please check National Rail for details and leave more time to travel if you choose to use this route.
