Bridlington’s beautiful sandy coastline, extensive facilities and cliff-top nature reserve provide all the ingredients for the perfect British seaside day out.
Bridlington North Beach
Fabulous family-oriented North Beach stretches over two miles and is backed by a charming Edwardian seafront promenade. You can make a day of it and hire a chalet or deckchair from several points along the Promenade. Or bag a bench and enjoy delicious fish and chips accompanied by beautiful sea views. Northern Beach is also close to Bridlington’s funfair, amusements, and harbour – ensuring all members of the family are happy.
Flamborough Nature Reserve
Alongside North Beach are the remarkable sheer chalk cliffs of Flamborough Headland, which boast one of the most important seabird colonies in Europe. The clifftop nature reserve located here welcomes kittiwakes, razorbills and puffins - while the fields are a haven for wildflowers and butterflies.
Bridlington South Beach
Popular South Beach offers not only pristine sands, but plenty in the form of entertainment. There’s the option to catch a show in the newly revamped Spa Complex, let the kids splash about in the paddling pool or eat al fresco in the picnic area.
