Northern is investing £1billion to transform rail travel in the North and the introduction of 98 state-of-the art, brand new trains by 2020 forms part of this.
We are committed to making the right improvements for our customers. From Tuesday 30 August to Tuesday 20 September, Northern held a series of roadshow events across the network to gather feedback on one of the key design features of the new trains; the seats.
|Leeds Station||30/31 August||0700 – 1900|
|Manchester Victoria||1/2 September||1000 – 1900|
|Liverpool Lime Street||5/6 September||1000 – 1900|
|Blackpool North||8/9 September||1000 – 1900|
|Newcastle||15 September||1000 – 1900|
|Carlisle||16 September||1000 – 1700|
|Sheffield||19/20 September||1000 – 1900|
The new seats roadshows represent the first of many engagement events to gather the opinions that really matter so that they can inform and influence the travel experience we deliver in the future.
The 98 new trains are just one of the ways Northern is transforming the standard of rail travel in the North.
