The ticket office and subway at Broad Green station remain temporarily closed until Early 2025 for accessibility improvements

We are undertaking accessibility enhancements at Broad Green Station so the the ticket office and subway will remain temporarily closed until 2025. 

Signage in station shows the routes between the station platforms.  

The station itself is still open and train services are still running

Subway closure

Please refer to the map provided, which highlights the walking route between the station platforms.

Please be aware that the walking route will take a minimum of 10 minutes between both platforms. Extra care should be taken crossing Old Thomas Lane. 
 

Ticket office 

If you need to purchase a ticket, you can do so online, via the ticket vending machine on platform 1 at the station, or via the Northern app. Customers should note there is currently no ticket vending machine available on platform 2. Alternatively, the nearest stations with ticket offices are Roby or Wavertree Technology Park. For assistance, please visit the designated temporary customer information point located in the car park during staffed hours (0600 - 1800). CCTV is in operation throughout the station.
