From the golden age of rail to the vibrant journeys of today, railway posters have captivated the imagination of travellers across generations. Now, it's your turn.
Your challenge
Create a poster that celebrates the spirit of Northern rail travel, inspired by the bold and beautiful design of classic railway posters. Think sweeping landscapes, bustling stations, and the joy of the journey.
What you could win
- Your artwork displayed at our stations across the North
- Railway-themed prizes

- Scenic journeys: Capture the beauty of travelling through the Pennines, along the Cumbrian Coast, or across the Yorkshire Dales
- People and community: Reflect the role of rail in everyday life from commuters and day-trippers to train crew and station staff
