31 October - 1 November

There are no trains in or out of Leeds station from late evening on Saturday 31 October until midday on Sunday 1 November 2020.

Buses will also replace all trains, all weekend between Leeds and Horsforth (calling at Burley Park & Headingley) that connect to/from Harrogate.

At Leeds station buses will replace all trains from 23:00 hrs on Saturday 31 October until 12:00hrs on Sunday 1 November 2020. This is due to continuing work by Network Rail to provide an additional platform at Leeds station, Platform 0, as part of Northern’s plans to operate longer trains on routes towards Bradford Forster Square, Skipton and Ilkley.

See map below for details of disruption on various lines around Leeds station.

Travelling to/from Leeds

For passengers travelling into Leeds, buses will drop off at Sovereign Street, which is approximately 8 minutes walk from Leeds station. Information will be available at the station, as well as additional staff to direct passengers from the drop off location to the station. For passengers leaving Leeds, buses will leave from outside the station front.

Where possible please make sure you leave plenty of time to board your train, or replacement bus, if you plan to travel during this disruption.
