CyclePoint gives customers security and peace of mind. Bicycles can be left at the station without fear of theft or vandalism. Customers store their cycles inside the CyclePoint building in double deck racks. The bikes can be locked onto the racks and they are monitored by CCTV and by CyclePoint staff on the premises. Costs start at £1 for a day's storage with discounts for monthly and annual tickets. CyclePoint is open between 6am and midnight, and manned between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm at weekends.
For security reasons, only registered monthly and annual season ticket holders may use the CyclePoint when it is unstaffed. This ensures that we know who has access to CyclePoint when staff are not present. Access at these times is via a swipe card which season ticket holders receive when they register as CyclePoint users in return for a refundable deposit.
When unmanned, CyclePoint is monitored by CCTV linked to Northern Rail's control room, and the area around the CyclePoint is patrolled by station staff.

How to use Leeds CyclePoint
Please follow the safety guidelines below when using these facilities.
- Cycle storage racks are made of solid steel and can be dangerous if used incorrectly
- Be aware of other users at all times. Never rush, and mind your head and feet. Look out for potential hazards.
- When using the racks that pull out, do so slowly and watch out for potential conflicts with other users in close proximity.
- Load your bike into the pull out racks front wheel first, and at a suitable angle to push the rest of the bike up the ramp, being aware of other racks/cycles and people close by.
- When retrieving your cycle do so slowly and correctly being aware of other users around you at all times.
- Some of the top ramps will not fit the larger cycles, so please use the height gauge to assess whether your cycle will fit. The racks are colour coded for ease of use and the height gauges can be found on the steel supports.
