Station Message
Step Free AccessUntil Autumn 2024, there is major improvement work happening to platform 2 and 3 at Maidenhead station. This will result in the lift being taken out of service during this time. Therefore, platform 2 and 3 will have no step free access.
This affects all customers travelling from London and alighting at Maidenhead station. This also affects customers beginning their journey at Maidenhead, who need to travel West (towards Reading / Newbury / Oxford).
Customers travelling from London and alighting at Maidenhead who require step free access, should circulate via Reading station, where customers can use a service that arrives back at Maidenhead on platform 4 and 5.
Customers beginning their journey at Maidenhead and travelling West, should travel east to Slough or Taplow, where you can then board a train travelling west.
If you are unable to circulate via these stations, please speak to a member of staff on the day or call Great Western Railway Passenger Assist on 0800 197 1329 who can help provide an alternative solution for you.
