Smart Competition FAQs

We will attempt to contact you via the email address given on entering.

If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period (10 days) or is/are not available to accept the prize beyond the promoter’s reasonable control, Northern reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

Your unique Season Ticket number will be submitted to a random number generator, which will select the winners.

Only season tickets available on routes operated by Northern will be entered.

Weekly and Monthly Season Tickets bought at a Northern Ticket Office.

To enter a given month’s free prize draw you must opt-in to the competition and have an active Season Ticket product (weekly or monthly) for a Northern route loaded on to a Northern Smart card. The winner must be 18 years of age or older.

A total of 40 winners will win back the cost of their weekly or monthly Smart season ticket in the form of a cheque, payable to the named winner.
