Station Message
All toilets are out of order at Bolton station.
From Monday 11 March 2024, the lift to platforms 4 and 5 at Bolton station is being replaced. During this time, passengers travelling from Bolton towards Preston, Blackpool and Cumbria will need to travel via Salford Crescent for step-free access. Passengers are advised to use the lift to platforms 1 and 3, to travel to Salford Crescent and use the step-free access there to head northbound.
Passengers who need step-free access are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and where possible, book assisted travel in advance with their train operator. Extra staff will be at the station to help passengers safely use the stairs.
