A combined railway and tram station, Sheffield station is the busiest in South Yorkshire seeing 8 million passengers a year. The station is the perfect way to transition from national to local travel with the tram service.
Meadowhall
An interchange, this station services trains, buses and trams all under one roof. The station has four train platforms which are all step-free accessible and is staffed throughout the day.
Dore & Totley
With only one platform, the station serves the Hope Valley Line for the suburbs of Dore and Totley. The station is unstaffed but has a ticket machine available, as well as step-free access to the platform.
Dronfield
Serving the town of Dronfield in Derbyshire, the station has two platforms and since 2008, sees an hourly service from Nottingham to Leeds. The station is unstaffed but does have a ticket machine and has occasional step-free access.
Darnall
A lightly used station, Darnall is 3 miles from the centre of Sheffield. The station is unstaffed but has step access. There is no ticket machine available, so we recommend buying advance tickets.
Woodhouse
Reopened in 1875, and dropping the “Junction” from its name, the station has two platforms and is unstaffed. Step-free access is only available to platform 1, and there is no ticket machine available.
