A popular visitor destination, Betton is a thriving little farm and working community, nestled in a hollow two-miles inland from Scarborough, fringed by the forests and moorland of North Yorkshire, with a selection of animals, small aviavry, Tea Room, bakery and Farm Shop!
A working farm with pigs, mini pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits and horses, Betton Farm also offers a small aviary with Cockatiels and Budgerigars. As well as this, the Farm also has a Tea Room, on site bakery and a Farm Shop, allowing visitors to buy locally produced goods - The Honey Bee Visitors Centre on the farm is also well worth a visit and the honey bee shop sells Yorkshire bee products from honey to soaps, creams and the famous Propolis!
Betton Farm is owned and run by Basics Plus, a registered charity and social enterprise providing employment opportunities for people with learning difficulties in the Scarborough area.
