Catpawcino cat cafe is situated on Newcastle’s picturesque Quayside, between the Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge.
It offers a sanctuary in the city, where guests can relax and cuddle up with a coffee, and furry felines that love to be loved.
Guests are welcomed into the cat lounge, where they can hope to meet the cafe’s 8 residents:
Alfie a Ragdoll, Betty the British Blue, brothers Darvin and Chocolate who are Birmans, Flora a British Shorthair, Scottish Folds Ebby and daughter Iva, and youngest is Hugo an Exotic.
They also have up to two foster cats at a time that the staff help to find permanent homes for. These are currently Barney and Bertie. Catpawcino have helped re-home around 12 cats so far.
Entry is £5 per person, which goes to the upkeep and welfare of the cafe’s resident cats and foster cats. They have an age restriction of 6 years and above.
