It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Liverpool as two Christmas markets take over the city!

 

Liverpool Christmas Market

Liverpool’s German Christmas Market has returned to St George’s Hall plateau. Now in its 12th year, the Festival has grown in size and popularity and now features more than 40 stalls selling food, jewellery, clothes and other traditional Christmas items.

Whetting your appetite? There are also a number of stalls selling gourmet burgers and bratwurst for the authentic German market experience. Wash it all down in the brand new Windmill Bar with a traditional beer, mulled wine and a range of festive drinks.

Christmas Ice Festival

The Ice Festival is back and bigger than ever at its Pier Head home on Liverpool’s waterfront. There’s plenty of festive fun to be had at this year’s event with more attractions, food stalls and rides than ever before.

There’s plenty of Christmas cheer to be had at Liverpool’s Christmas Ice Festival with rides and fun for the whole family including:

  • 3 lane 100ft ice slide
  • The UK’s only Ice Jet Ride
  • Ice rink
  • Santa’s Grotto
  • 30m ferris wheel
  • Children’s roller coaster
  • Santa train
  • Helter Skelter...and more.

You can also sample the 60 traditional market stalls, selling everything from traditional Christmas goods to burgers, crepes and beer! There’s even a genuine Ice Bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments. Need to warm up? Then visit Apres Lodge and cosy up on its big sofas and relax to the sounds of the festival’s resident DJs.
