Hull has arguably been a cultural hotspot for years and its City of Culture accolade has certainly strengthened its status. Events like the Hull Street Food Night and the stellar dining scene have also helped place Hull firmly on the culinary map.

Thursday nights will never be the same in Hull thanks to the Hull Street Food Nights, which see the city transformed into something resembling a Moroccan souk! The evening events see Posterngate, which is less than half a mile from the city’s train station, transformed into a twinkling piazza with deck chairs, canteen style tables and benches and over 15 local, top-notch street food vendors, including gastro pop-up, Shoot the Bull; gourmet burgers from Kerb Edge; and Tapsaya – one of the finest Indian restaurants in the city, to name but a few. All complemented by an array of independent bars serving a cocktail of drinks to the city’s foodie enthusiasts, a food festival not to be missed.
