Salt-making is part of Cheshire’s heritage. Voted the UK’s Best Heritage project this new attraction brings to life the story of salt with fun, interactive and educational exhibits. Enjoy the ‘subsiding house’ and theatrical effects evoking the giant clouds of steam once produced by the huge salt-boiling pans. There’s even a fright night on 29th October where you can meet the ghostly characters who come out to play at night!
