This family friendly attraction gives you the chance to see some of the most spectacular birds of prey, right up close, in the heart of the city and learn all about birds, reptiles, ferrets and more!
Owls, falcons, hawks and one incredibly mischievous vulture called Tinks, call our Falconry Centre home. Our expert falconers are always on hand to talk about any aspect of the birds and their habitats.
Throughout the day we regularly do handling sessions with a variety of our animals to give our customers an up-close experience with nature. We also have daily flying displays where you get to see our birds in action putting their natural instincts to good use, demonstrating a variety of flight styles.
Our whole centre is wheelchair accessible and we have a small kiosk on site selling light refreshments, hot and cold drinks, and a few souvenirs.
The Falconry Centre is located close to Chester Cathedral, and is easily accessible from Chester’s city walls.
