There's a dedicated rail station at Xscape Yorkshire called Glasshoughton Station with trains running regularly on the Pontefract Line from Leeds- Knottingley/Goole. You can also catch a train to Castleford rail station then take a 5-10 minute taxi or bus ride on services 134, 183 or 411 from the nearby Castleford Bus Station to Xscape Yorkshire.
The main doors open at 6.30am, for those early birds who go to the gym first thing, the slope area opens at 8am for those who want to get ready to enjoy the fresh snow which opens at 9am. The centre shuts between midnight and 2am on most nights. Opening times of each business vary, here is an outline of the main opening times of the activities, shops and restaurants in the centre.
Xscape have 88 free car-parking spaces for those members of the public requiring disabled access in line with blue badge criteria. Within the centre there are over 20 disabled toilets both in the businesses and the main mall of Xscape. The centre is equipped with lifts to all 1st floor activities, most notably the giant cactus lift opposite Starbucks which gains access to the cinema, soft-play and laser zone. Access through the Xscape's main doors are all automatic. There is a wheelchair available from our security team.
