They’re back and better than ever. Previously voted the best in Europe, these award-winning markets include more than 300 stalls spread across the city centre, offering everything from delicious dishes to Yuletide drinks and handmade gifts.
As well as being free to visit, each of the markets are easily accessible by train as they’re all just a short walk from Manchester Victoria, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Piccadilly train stations. By hopping on the train, you can forget about tackling traffic and finding parking and instead relax and enjoy the festive fun from start to finish.
Spread across eight locations in the centre of Manchester, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for Christmas gifts with a difference, you’ll find stalls selling handmade jewellery, toys, bags, clothes and kitchenware, to name just a few. For all those foodies out there, you won’t be disappointed by the vast array of enticing food and drink on offer, from warming mulled wines to freshly-filled crepes, traditional roasted chestnuts and delicious local delicacies from across Europe and beyond.
